How frightening to lose Maggie. She really was clever to find her way home, thank goodness she did.

Richard lost Domino once for 15-20 minutes when she went after a deer in woods close to where Ali said Zeta and Maddie got hurt. My mum lives near Woodfalls and there are so many deer there, they even come in her garden at night and eat the plants (the woods where Domino got lost are right at the back of their field). Richard just stood still and eventually Domino came back, this was a few years ago, and understandably he's very nervous about letting her run free now.

Sophie, I'm coming to Paignton Show, but not Domino. I would have to enter her 'not for competition', she would get bored and I'm hoping to catch a lift with Ali and Elspeth. Looking forward to meeting you and Ilka.

My children have gone away for the night with my mum so I have a peaceful evening. Unfortunately, I really need to catch up with some work.
