What an awful thing to happen to Maddie - that's what I'm always frightened of when they run off - that they have got hurt and can't get back, so then you don't know whether to stay where you are so they can find you or go and look for them in case they are hurt somewhere. Maggie came back fine thank goodness if not a little tired. We are puzzled how she got through the gate at the far end of the wood as there is no room under and you need to open it to get through. We think she must have gone round which takes her quite a way off the direct route home so she is clever if she found that way. She is sleeping well tonight )lol

Hope Ilka's eye clears up Sophie. And as for that nasty man hurting her making her scared now - you must feel very cross. You will have to get lots of people to stroke her there and then give her a treat so she associates it with something nice. I'm sure she will get better about it soon.
