I had a chat with Richard and we agreed that I couldn't actually report the incident ourselves as Domino hasn't been attacked. I did speak to the owner just after it happened and suggested that they should get some help with the dog as I knew it had attacked a few weeks before. He said that the dog wouldn't be allowed in the front garden again. I don't think going round and saying anymore will make any difference, I just hope they do something about it, they are nice enough people.
I've sent an email to the dog warden just asking for advice, not telling them where the dog lives etc, but explaining the situation and see if they have any comments. It just makes me cross that it's happening more around here, the dogs are very territorial, even Domino is but we wouldn't let her run loose so that she could run into the road.
While I was on my run yesterday I met several Labradors with their owners, all ambling along, not taking a blind bit of notice of anyone. I don't think a Munsterlander could ever be like that, they have a fun character, Domino knows not to jump, but if someone makes a fuss of her she can't resist the chance of giving them a good wash. I'm sure shouting at your dog doesn't achieve anything, a bit like the kids behaviour doesn't improve if I shout at them either.
