You are a much healthier person than me, running before dinner! My exercise is Ceilidh and the occasional cycle run with Gregor. When I say occasional I mean rare. Although it is several miles per walk and lots of running and playing so it must all count for something. My wrist is very sore, so I am completely useless at work today as gripping anything is an impossibility. We missed our ring craft last night because I spent so long in A & E so we will be practicing more than normal on our walks for the rest of the week.
We were having some problems with Ceilidhs recall over the last 2 weeks. Have you tried some cheep smoked ham? Ceilidh is not one for treats on walks but the ham works every time! She was not coming at all for a while then she would come but stay just far enough away from us that if we needed to put her on the lead she could run away before we could get to her. We are still working on this one. Well I am anyway, not too sure about Gregor. Although he met "the spanniel" people out last night (they have 7 so they are called the spanniel people) and Peter the owner was saying that because we let her on our bed she will think she is top dog and will never do anything we tell her. His dogs are especially well behaved but almost to the point of being boring, and they live outside. In my opinion every owner and every dog is different, and I disagree with him entirely. I think Gregor was a bit taken aback when he was saying this and he then took Ceilidhs lead and walked with her then tried to make her sit, on the third ask he shouted at her and she sat down looking a bit frightened. Honestly, if I had been there I would have given him a piece of my mind, trying to scare her into doing something for him like that, especially when she doesn't know him! Of course, his dogs walked along behind him and sat instantly the first time he said it. Some people really make my blood boil.
