Maggie's new toy!

Last night when Frank got home from work I asked him to bring the horse troff round from the top paddock, which is just an old cast iorn bath, as I wanted it closer to our back gate so that Maggie can use it to cool off in the heat. Since the horses have sadly gone now it isn't being used. Poor Frank dragged it and carried it, which was quite a way and then made it nice and firm for Maggie. He is even going to make her a step so she can get in and out easier! He couldn't talk when he had finished, said I had half killed him and it was the heaviest thing he had every had to carry - ooops! Now all I need to do is give it a clean and fill it up and Maggie has her very own out door bath tub!

The grass in the paddocks is getting really long and Maggie has to jump up and down to see where she is. Last night when we were in the field messing about with the bath, she decided to take herself off for a walk but she was very good and stayed withing eye shot of us. But she loved the cool evening air and the long grass!
The hedgehog is very sweet Ali. Amazing the dogs didn't try and kill it. Your story of the dogs flushing Leah's sock down the loo made me laugh. Got this picture in my mind of them all helping her get it off )LOL!
