NEWBIE

Good morning everybody and thank-you Ali for letting me join your blog
Just to fill in a few details ...I read Ali's tantalising snippet this morning..... I used to be Lindsey Wright and with my first husband Mike, we were amongst the original founders of the Large Munsterlanders in the UK in the 1970's. Our Meadlands dogs appear on many of the pedigrees of Munsters in this country. While browsing web sites a few weeks ago, I came across the Blitzan web site and was immediately struck by the similarity of some of Ali's family to our early dogs. Shaunty, Meadlands Astor, threw lighter coloured Munsters and I couldn't resist contacting Ali to find out the background of her breeding. That background plus my instant love affair with the picture of Diva meant that I was hooked. Pup booked and I am counting the days, hours and minutes to my new aquisition. It seems so long to wait...exasperated friends keep telling me the time will go really quickly. In the meantime, I am going to the SKC this weekend - obedience Saturday and Munsters Sunday and luckily have a free day to go meet Ali at Border Union in June. So I am looking forward to meeting some of you. I am also hoping to get to some working tests later this year. I now live in Scotland and would dearly love to have the chance to work Munsters as well as show. All for now, I have an invalid in the family, my hubbies collie boy who was neutured yesterday as he was getting far too big for his boots and very confrontational to the other boys , as well as refusing to eat if there is a bitch in season within ten miles. In between leaping around the house like a lunatic, - have you ever tried keeping a collie quiet??? he looks at me so sadly that I feel really guilty. I think it is as well as I was never going to use him and with a wee bitch coming later on, he will have plenty of time to settle down.
