Sharon, we live in Clackmannan! So close, we should go walks when your little boy has had his jags. Do you have any other dogs or just cats? The mad bursts do calm down after a bit once you are able to walk them, Ceilidh was really bad for that, but we were persistant and when we could walk her it improved as all of the smells and new surroundings tired her out. Even 5 minutes (an hour after eating of course) did the trick. Or of he is in to food make the hyper time easier by playing a sniffing the treat out game.
Glad you are still coming this week Ali, it will be good to see you. If you had decided not to come, we would have maybe popped in for a visit since we are down that way(ish) until Sunday.
We have had a great weekend, Ceilidh had never met my cousin David before and he visited on friday so we met him in the drive for him to go over her for a little practice and she couldn't have been better. Then we had Chris and Lia and she had a great time (my brother is 28 this year and he acts just like a puppy! Even running through the trees and shrubs in the forest with Ceilidh looking at him as if he was completely bizarre!) And the mud loving gene has really started to show as you can see, lying down in it now and looking so pleased with herself.
We saw another couple of Swans today and she went after them again but with much calling she turned and came back to us thankfully. She is now snoozing for the afternoon and looking as if butter wouldn't melt. Such a sweetheart.
