Cats & Paws & Photos & Captions

'And all because the Lady loves Black Magic'... What a lovely series of Darcy photos.

Lovely photos on here, again. We have our own Snow Angel here - no need for snow ploughs or tractors :) Like Father like Son... :) It was also lovely to see photos of Danny Dog, again.

Thanks Ali & Karen. Soelvoer was only 2.5 years old. Like your Mum's cat, Karen, Ian wondered if that was what had happened. Soelvoer was very tiny as a kitten and wouldn't grow and had a terrible stomach. After every test imaginable, it was discovered that she had chronic giardia, but I also think she had a food intolerance as the giardia became easier to control when I changed her food. She was jealous too as a kitty cat, but had grown into an absolutely brilliant cat. Ali, I'm sorry to hear about Gizmo and Woody and Woody returning after a 2 year absence is amazing. Soelvoer used to accompany me in my bath (not quite literally, lol) and used to sit on the edge with her tail right in the water, however hot it was. Yes, it is awful not knowing what has happened. When I've read about this happening to other people, I've thought, 'how awful' and it is.

They actually snow ploughed our lane yesterday! There is not a lot of grit around here and only some of the A Roads appear to have been done. Things are tricky in places for 2 wheel drive, but we have AWD and the old car can be 'jacked-up', which helps with snow which has not been compacted, although it wouldn't cope with the shed-load Ali has had. We are still aiming for Wales tomorrow. It should take us about an hour to the M5, then it's the M4 and then A-Roads virtually all the way to a place near Tenby. Apparently, the roads are not too bad. We shall see. I don't fancy being stuck with two dogs and a kitten in a basket, lol. Hopefully, the journey will be good as there is a fantastic beach at Cefn Siddan (not sure of the spelling), which goes on for miles and miles and miles, where the dogs could have a fantastic run en route.

I'm really sorry to hear about Elsa's paw, Karen. I hope that it heals quickly. I just love the thought of her waving her injured paw in your faces if cuddles are not forthcoming :)
