Dodger is such a lovely, friendly puppy. We went to Moors Valley Country park (on the Dorset/Hampshire border) this afternoon to enjoy the beautiful weather and he loved it and all the attention he was getting from children and adults alike who think he looks beautiful. Plenty of requests to stroke him which he laps up. Any hint of some attention and he's there.
He's so good he simply stands or sits there and waits for people to stroke him - definitely the right temperament for a PAT dog in the making - our trainer seems to think so. He also loves other dogs - all sizes and shapes, thinks everyone could potentially be a new friend. If he's unsure though, rather than bounding up to them he goes up close ish, then stops and waits for them to come and say 'hi' - then he plays and heads on to see who else we can meet.
Whilst on our walk he was in and out of every puddle or stream he could find including some swimming - something he has developed quite a liking for.
Couple of pics for you...
This is in our garden one morning this week enjoying the sunshine. He loves to lie in front of the bamboo and watch to world go by.
Having got back from our afternoon adventure, all clean and fed, here he is sleeping in his bed in the lounge.
Think this may be where he stays for the evening - perhaps with a small interruption for some play with a toy or two, then back to sleeping...
