When Theo cut his rear paw and had staples, we made a bootie out of some old vinyl chair covering. But a neighbour who works spaniels recommended 'Gaffer Tape' from B&Q. The vet fitted an elizabethan collar, too, but Theo still managed to work his way around it. In desperation, we kept him in our room overnight and we've never managed to get him out!
