Rosie, you are obviously stronger than us! When we got Ceilidh we both slept on the floor in our bedroom on the first night and after that she was on our bed! She now sleeps under our bed and if we leave the door open she sleeps in the door way. We did decide to start as we ment to go on and it was fantastic for toilet training because every time she moved when she was on the bed I woke and rushed her straight outside then she would just go straight back to the bed room and wait beside the bed for me to lift her up (the lifting up didn't last long, she soon grew big enough to get up herself (funnily enough only when she had muddied her paws! Otherwise she waited to be lifted) I know we are terribly soft but she is our first and we have no will power. One cry was enough for me.
That is such a lovely idea for Hudson, being a suprise in the morning! Let us know how it goes.
Ceilidh will give you lots of cuddles next week Judith to make up for the puppies going to new homes this week. An ear rub is her favourite, if she tries to knock you over by bulldozing her head into your legs, that is what she wants. Just to warn you.
