A belated Happy Birthday to his Mum, from Murphy. I think Tansy looks very like Murphy, Loudon, and she certainly looks like she is catching up in size. He isn't too keen on swimming yet, he did end up in the sea up to his knees when we were in Dorset, but that was by accident as he was chasing a seagull, and his face was a picture when he looked down and realised.
Thanks for the tips Ali, I have tried to either ignore him when he takes things or distract him with something more interesting, which does seem to work - the trouble is it can be quite funny sometimes because he will take something really slowly right in front of us while keeping one eye on us - really cheeky! I think the mouthing of wrists and sleeves might be more difficult to stop - he is quite gentle, but I can imagine when he gets bigger and stronger and if he's excited it might not be so endearing. We try to ignore him when we first come in the door until he's calmed down and that seems to work up to a point. If we can get him to sit he is instantly calmer - almost like a different dog.
Shadow looks very cute and cuddly.
