Teenagers and Puppies!

Elsa looks gorgeous! 12 weeks old already where does the time go! Its definatley the teenage years that we are going through, tough but worthwhile in the long run! Ellle the Painting is fabulous! Tessa Hudson is 13 months.

Its safe to say we made lots of mistakes in the beginning with Hudson and mixing him with lots of people is something we didn't really do, so hope to work on this now, hopefully we haven't left it too late! Hudson gets extremley exitable when he meets people and has scared people off by this!

There are definatly 2 sides to him excitable mad and crazy with visitors and loving caring and gentle when at home with the family, so hopefully in time we will see more of the gentle side coming through. I think the people thing is just a case of getting him used to visitors and being around new people. We also have to work on his recall, and his barking. He barks a bit when we leave him downstairs when we all get dressed in the mornings, at the moment we are just trying to ignore this.

But the hardest thing at the moment is that Hudson seems to want to decide when we wake up in the mornings! Its not that he needs the loo or anything as Matt has taken to getting up when he barks (sometimes 5.30 am) and he will ignore him but go and sleep on the sofa in another room to him and this settles him down. I guess we need to blitz it by ignoring the barking in the morning for as long as it takes, but at the moment we have taken to doing this so as not to disturb the kids. If anyone has any tips that would be wonderful!
Sorry for going on, but feel if we don't address these issues now things will get worse and worse!
Hope everyone is having a lovely sunny day
