The sun is trying to break through here - not as nice as forecast but had an uneventful walk with Maggie this morning - she did flush up a pheasant and stopped when I blew my whistle so pleased with that but I wish she would point - she just sniffs around - you can tell she is getting close as she gets quite frantic and then the bird flies up but she doesn't point.

Elsa joined us for the last bit - got Frank to let her out when I could see the house and I whistled her and she came charging out to meet us - Maggie though interrupted her coming to me in her enthusiasm to say hello.
