Sarah, that is awful! Pdsa and other animal charities normally provide an ambulance/lifing service too. Do you think it is maybe even something that you could get someone to come into your school to do a presentation to the kids. At least then if they have these problems you have given them all the correct information and even if they ask the school in future to contact the charities if they are needed? Just a thought. I know that my sisters kids love having these things in and she is in quite a deprived area in london. That really is heart breaking.
