Here’s a few pictures from our forest walk yesterday. Our camera is really slow so getting munster action shots is difficult.
Oscar seems to be growing at some rate, poor Misty will get a shock soon.
How are Domino and Mazy getting on together Karen?
I thought Elsa was doing an impressive sit/stay whilst Maggie charged ahead in that 2nd picture!
Tessa, I hope you have a good day with Christine tomorrow. I am starting to recognise the “one step forward and three steps back” that Peter mentions.
Elle, I’ve no idea where to get a wheel cover done but if you find out I’d appreciate you sharing the details. I really liked the first picture but for the reason of reproduction I wondered if a sideways shot would be better. I’m sure if you find someone who does it they can advise better.
Lyn, nice to see the picture of Ghillie. I see his flecks are starting to come through. I hope his blood test results come back ok. I hadn’t realised you were considering doing gundog work with Ghillie, I emailed Elspeth for your contact details as I thought you may be interested in the club we attend. The training ground is fairly close to you. It’s not a formal type of class but I thought it may be something you’d be interested in hearing about. We enjoy it.
Logi and the lamb were lovely. Brodie never relaxes when my cats are around he wants to play with them all the time.
Peter I’ve been appreciating your write ups. Can you clarify a bit more what you mean at the end of your last post? The section starting “note of caution. I have already said that our dogs like to communicate ….” The statement sounded important but I wasn’t sure what you would term as a “simple signal” . Maybe if you could give an example I may understand it better.
I hope everyone who went enjoyed the Nat App. We had a good time at the one on Scotland last year but Brodie was too young to take part. We were hoping to go to the Scottish one this year but it’s looking like we may be at our French home.
Rabies vaccine – I remember someone last year, who has family in France, writing that even though a rabies vaccine in the pet passport is still in date (Brodie’s is a 3 year vaccine) that to visit France they require the rabies vaccine to be given annually. I can’t remember who wrote, am I remembering correctly and if so and be interested in knowing where the information came from? Thanks.
