Elsa
We took Elsa out to the 'sheep field' (no sheep at the moment but a great place for the dogs to run when they're not there). This was her first time. The short walk through the village to the farm on the lead went well although she is all over the place on the lead at the moment - I use a harness so as not to put any pressure on her neck. Unfortunately we didn't meet any cars which is the norm in Holton so I will have to take her somewhere she can meet them soon. She was such a confident little thing though and trotted out in front with her tail stuck up in the air. When we got there we let her free and she stuck to us like glue. She did try to follow Maggie a few times but soon gave up and came back to us - well Frank more actually )lol. I used this short period of wanting to stay close to do a lot of recall training and evertime she was running back to us I used the whistle and rewarded her. She is flaked out now.
Good luck on Tuesday Tessa - let us know what Christine advises - I would be really interested - think I have a couple more months before I will be going through the same with Elsa!
Elle - love that head shot of Zeb - I've seen it before but it's a lovely photo. Don't know where you can get wheel covers done though.
