Mandy, Domino used to chase the big black birds and pigeons if she went outside on her own, although they tend not to come in the garden anymore. To stop Domino racing out into the garden at home to chase whatever was out there, we asked her to sit and wait in the utility room while we went out first. Then we would call her to us and give her a treat for coming straight to use rather than chase the birds. We're not sure whether it was the training that helped or if the birds stopped flying into the garden. Sometimes she will bark at one if it's sat on the telegraph wires. We do have loads of smaller birds visit the garden because we have feeders everywhere for them, Domino's not bothered by them. Hope others can give you some advice too. Lovely photos.
