I'm trying to train Maggie to do blind retrieves. She is getting better at taking direction to the left or right using two pips on the whistle to get her attention and then signalling the direction I want her to go in (sticking my are out to left or right)- she looks at me for direction when she can't find it and she will stop to the whistle if she goes to far and I can bring her back. The problem I am having is if she doesn't go far enough and I want her to go out further to look she doesn't understand. How do I train her to go on away from me?
Your advice as always would be greatly appreciated.
