at last!
Took Maggie out this afternoon, just me and her as Tilly has decided she doesn't want to come all the way anymore and keeps wondering back home half way round - she can get back into our back garden without having to go onto a road but not into the house and I still worry about her when she does this but I can't keep running back after her - she is so naughty and completely ignores me calling her. I know she knows the way home but not sure if I should 'drag' her out even if she doesn't want to as I want her to keep fit. Anyway had a lovely time with Maggie who still thoroughly enjoys her walks. (trying to get pictures up but won't let me - i'll try later)
Love the goat pictures Sophie. Have a funny story concerning a goat in Cornwall. I was on holiday there a good few years back now with a friend. We were walking across a field and think somehow managed to wonder off the footpath. We came across a goat tethered in the middle of a field. I felt sorry for it so stayed to pet it for a while, we were then joined by the farmer and owner of this goat who was very friendly and not at all cross that we had wondered onto his land. I asked him why the goat was tethered and he said "cos eh keeps eatin his way owt, he'll eat anythin' he will" with that my friend who wore a false tooth on a plate, laughed and his tooth fell out of his mouth which was promptly and fairly swiftly eaten by the goat! I laughed all the way home and most of the holiday over this much to the great annoyance of my friend!
