Ringcraft Classes

Just back from Cassie's first ringcraft class. I don't have any thing to compare it to, but it seemed quite good, only cost £1 for a hour and a half. Mainly socialisation but a fair bit of one-on-one and some good advice. Cassie actually managed to stand (instead of sitting) and moved really well. I will have to keep practising what we've learnt from now until Sunday. There were about 14 dogs, and an owner of a flat coated retriever who actually knew what Cassie was and had been considering getting one! We're also going beating in a couple of weeks, I'll just keep her on a lead and see what she's like with the guns. Hopefully I'm booked onto the Gun Dog Training Day in November so we can progress from there.
