They are great, especially Ceilidh's video. Domino would love to come and play with Ceilidh too. Domino used to charge round the garden like that when she was younger, now she stands still and lets the other dogs do the chasing.
I've got our whistle and the beginners gun dog training book, which looks great and starts right back at the basics, so we've been practising sitting instantly on command today, just indoors, but it's shown me that Domino will only sit quickly if she knows there is a treat nearby, so have to work with no rewards just praise for doing it right. I won't try the whistle until we've got this bit right. The book is primarily aimed at training puppies, but does cater for an older dog too. I'll post our progress (if we make any!!)
