Thanks everyone for the advice. I am going to give Ali a ring to discuss the food issue and see if there is anything I can do different there (sounds interesting). I really think it is just habit and slow development in the bladder control area. She does always go out before bed and does one or two wees and poos without fail. She is also very good at weeing on command. Have done all the normal things that have worked with my other dogs so maybe it will just click with Evie too. She does have her favourite spots so will try the white pepper. She seems to think the kitchen floor is an extension of the patio ( our kitchen floor is slate so not much different to paving ). Evie has always needed to wee a lot and when she was younger we had to take her outside every 15 minutes or so. She has improved a lot and last night I decided to try getting up and putting her out at 2am and she did a wee and poo - only one wee then this morning. Anyway will speak to Ali and see if I can make any changes anywhere. She is such a wonderful girl who we love dearly so if I have to clear up every morning for the rest of her life then so be it (sure it won't be the case)
