HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL THE ONE YEAR OLD PUPPIES

Does any one know whether it's ok to give a small aspirin to a dog in pain. Maggie has hurt her paw this morning on a walk and it is very swollen on the top of the paw. I have looked for thorns or any foreign bodies but can't find anything and I can't see the vet until 4.50pm as they are very busy. She is very miserable and probably in pain - so I wondered whether I could give her an aspirin to ease it.
