.......went out with the dogs earlier to get a few pics (as sorry to hear Ali and family's move is not going great) and started off fine, dogs sniffing around and rolling as normal but forgot as in a different field that they can escape, urr umm, so what did Ilka do, under the fence and into a field of cows with calves, don't know what I was more worried about Ilka disturbing them or them chasing her and protecting there calves (probably them chasing her) so called and whistled but Ilka must have forgotten to put her hearing aid in this morning so went in (very muddy) field, her still walking up to the cows having a bark then getting scared and running off then going back....ect think she was curious mainly, would have been wearing wellies but had just been out for a hack so in joddy boots and half chaps so got wet smelly muddy feet through to socks, gave up and got Dad by that time the cows had had enough and were chasing her off and the last time she did not like it much and so eventually got her back over the fence. Then headed strait for the hose gave Ilka a wash off (though she still smells of cow muck a bit) then looped her lead on the tap turned my back to wash Sid, turn back round and saw a lead but no Ilka, she had slipped it and was heading for the neighbours garden, so tied Sid to nearest tree, and as no hearing aid and us not aloud to go on neighbours property, she very happily had a good sniff around while I was secretly hoping she would have a good dig and a paddle in their tiny pond but no such luck, got her back and have decided, first find her hearing aid and later going to do some training in that field and hope it goes a little better.
So been quite fun over hear.
Glad you like the horses, Karens (either of you) or any one else Ali/James/anyone just ask, if your down this way or want to come down for a ride your welcome to.
