Not been able to get to the LMC show as James is rather poorly with what the doctor thinks is salmonella poisoning, he came home from school so chuffed as in biology he had dissected a chicken wing, he said it was his first thing done towards being a vet! We then went to his presentation for his story writing prize, got home about 9pm and then he went to bed. Middle of the night it all kicked off, both ends, ( he will kill me for saying that) and one very poorly boy. So sorry to let you down Karen, Judith and everyone, but with Andrew working there was no way I could leave my boy.
On a brighter note he was so chuffed with his award, it was a lovely evening and now his and the other winning stories are on display in the Library in Alton. There were loads of entries over 70 from one of the schools and there were lots of schools entered. Lins, James likes your idea of a Munsterlander book, so expect him taking you up on it!!!, if he doesn't then i will for sure.
Grotty day here very wet and windy, got a call from Judith early this morning to say she had a narrow escape, her brakes went in the van, she ended up with nothing, thankfully she hadn't made it to the motorway or that could of be disastrous, but she managed to get home and borrow a car to get to the show. Hope it all goes well today at the LMC show as I do feel guilty for letting everyone down but it couldn't be helped.
Will pop up some pictures a little later on.
