Well i think it is very sad. This is a 76 hectares site that i run the dogs on. It is an old airfield that closed down towards the end of WW2. Local council have just started to build on the site, a very small hospital for people recovering from strokes, may have a small walk in centre but they are not sure yet. Then there will be offices and units for businesses (this i just dont understand when over the road there are offices and units still to be sold or rented out) than 2000 houses!!! There will be no open spaces left here soon, we all tried so hard to stop it but i think once they make their minds up there is no stopping them. So the Rugby club, the model airplane club, the cycling club and dog walkers plus other people that use this site (and it is well used by all) will have to find somewhere else now.
