Tessa, I think the advice that people have given you on here is very good, I cant add much as Misty is now 10yrs old, I do remember with Misty if she had a accident (wee) on carpet (when she was young) she did tend to go back there but we did get there in the end. I ended up training her to wee and poo on command you may feel silly asking them to do it but it does work, I have started doing it with Oscar already, think the pepper like Ali said may be a good way to start might put her off going to toilet in the house.
Oscar Slept through last night bless him he was so good, he has been playing out in the garden today with Misty, they then came in and had tug of war the the teddie snake!! Oscar decided he had had enough and just rolled over and ignored Misty.
