Some lovely pictures Judith - expecially the gorgeous Stella, she is sooo pretty, hope I have one just like her one day. That is a sad video, it's horrible when things change but it does happen all the time. When I was a young girl I used to ride all over the countryside here in Holton, through the woods and into the meadows and my mother had free range to walk the dogs where she liked - the land was owned by a sweet old man called Major Millar, but now he has died and his horrible, snobby (could say a few other words here but I won't!) nephew owns it and there is a new gamekeeper and all the fields have gates with padlocks on them, they have put signs up everywhere saying private - keep out. It's impossible to ride there now and if you do trespass you get an earful from this horrible gamekeeper, so mostly we do have to stick to the footpaths now. I know it could be worse but it's still sad to think of what we did have access to. As for building, that's all that seems to go on everywhere - The M40 cut through a large chunk near us too a few years back, that was devastating when it happened. I hope you find somewhere else to replace it.
What a great drawing Lins of Diva. You are clever, didn't know you were an artist - did you do it from a photo and did it take you long?
Sorry to hear Ringo hurt his tail Rosie. Glad it's getting better.
Yesterday was Maggie's dog training day but I had to miss it cos of a doctors appointment, so I decided to take her to a field nearby with some sheep in and walk her through the middle of them on the lead. She was very good and I told her to leave everytime she looked at them, not sure I would ever trust her off lead though. Think it would be them running away that would interest her, when they just stand and look it's ok. Oh, by the way Judith, this is another field which was great for letting the dogs have a run around together which has now been stopped because of the sheep in the field!
