Karen, your mother's whippet looks just like Daisy, my mum's whippet. I will get a photo of her to show you.
Arlene, I had the same trouble with Domino when we went training except she would look around the hall and try to bark at any collies that were there while she was waiting her turn. I was advised that training in a hall wasn't the right environment for a Munsterlander, so now we've started going to a social group, which is loads of dogs running round a field, with some socialising and training mixed in. We hope to join the training class in January which will also be held outside. Domino is so much better in this environment. Vets should know what the dog breeds are, but I don't think my vets knew what they were until they met Ali's dogs.
I've climbed Snowdon twice, not with a dog though and in the middle of summer doing the Three Peaks Challenge (this was long ago when I was fit). The weather was pretty bad up there even that time of year
Joanne, hope you feel better now, there are some nasty bugs going around here at the moment, luckily we've been well so far.
I've got a busy week, all the usual things and then Domino's birthday on Saturday and Charlotte's on Sunday, so don't expect to see me around much this weekend.
