Leave it!

Sharon, Maggie is great with the leave or give command concerning anything apart from pheasants! In dog training class the chap put a tasty treat on the floor in front of each dog and asked us to walk our dogs around it either with the dog on the inside, nearest the treat or if we weren't feeling brave, with the dog on the outside. I went first. I only had to tell Maggie to leave it once then I walked around it with her on the inside and she didn't even look at it. The instructor said that she was great. If she is chewing a bone I only have to ask her to give or leave it and she does immediately. She even left a rabbit alone when I asked her to once that was trying to hide in the bush. UNFORTUNATELY the same can not be said where pheasants are concerned! I can shout all I want leave it - but totally goes deaf!

Rosie, glad Ringo six months check went well and his heart murmer has gone. 74 kids on halloween! I only had one lot and that was my daughter and her 3 friends! Bought a bumper back of goodies ready too - but they didn't go to waste )lol

Lins, lovely pictures of Louis and Cassie - Louis does look a bit big for that bed. Maggie often tries to lie in Tilly's - she is only a cavalier so there is no way she would fit in it but she does try!
