Ali, sorry I didn't get back for so long but things were a little hectic around here and I just now looked at the blog. Fires are not so scary anymore, for us anyways. We were not evacuated but we have a few refugees staying with us, 2 cats in my daughters room as Andy is allergic, and two chiuhuawas. Andreas friend and parents were a block away from the flames and they stayed here the first night. His mom had to rescue 2 donkeys 2 min horses, a quarter horse and their goats plus their 5 dogs. They may be let back to their house today. Oh and we have a brand new motorcycle in our garage from another friend who is on evacuation alert. The firefighters are doing a great job and they must be getting exhausted as 2 of the fires are not under control as of yet. I will keep you updated and thank you for your concern.
