Thanks for the nice comments about the video. The camcorder i used is called a Flip Mino - it looks a bit like an ipod but just shoots video and has a built inUSB plug that goes straight into the computer. Not the cheapest gadget but great for quick vids of dogs :D I think it helps keep the quality by uploading it to YouTube rather than free hosting sites too.
As for names - Kaia took me ages to pick a name for. I had a shortlist of about 6 names - all i knew was that i wanted something unusual and preferably two syllables. After a few weeks i just found i was drawn to the name Kaia so was able to decide before i collected her. As for Loki it is a nme i hav loved since i read a Norse Mythology book back in school and i always said my first male dog would be called Loki. So his name was chosen even before i had even heard of a munsterlander!
However i have found that by choosing unusual names I always have to spell them out for people and anyone who sees them writen down first always calls them Kee-a and Lock-ee (Atleast that way it sounds like i went for a theme - lock and key!)
