I don't like wax jackets Sarah - find them too heavy. I prefer the ski type jackets that have a separate layer inside you can take out when warmer. Like a three in one coat. Mine is light, windproof and waterproof and with both layers zipped together is warm too on those cold winter mornings.

What I really need is something to keep my legs dry as with the wet weather at the moment and long crops my legs get drenched walking through it all. Even if it isn't raining the grass holds the wet - I often have to change my jeans twice a day!
