Oh god, don't want to go in to this but I presume they were dealt with like a cow/sheep/ect wont go further. But brings back memories of Mushroom Charlies old pony who got kicked in the field me and Charlie went out to check them and saw her with a broken leg I knew she would have to be put down as she was very old as well, and the hunt got called out while we went to a friends house as did not want to be there (she was on loan from a horse dealer it got complicated) but she was so sweet, Polo (my grey) and Mushroom were in love, remember one pony club camp they were tied to the same piece of string (lack of space) and Polo spent the time with his head over her rubbing her neck. Any way I don't think they can do much with the mess, the mess we found a little way down a bridle in up in a gateway and more by where some one in the field next door had been chopping wood (near where they had been kept) and they had tried to cover it with shavings but any way will stop there.
