Hi everyone, I'm Kathy and I have one of Ali's new babies, Blitzan Eternal Joy, or Gertie.
I picked her up on Saturday, and apart from the first fifteen minutes or so when she squawked loud and long, she then settled down and slept almost all the way home- about three hours- and was not sick or phased by anything. On getting home, she explored the back garden and played with her new friend from over the road, Kes, and then went into her crate and slept. She has been very good overnight (so far....) only waking up twice when she needed to go for a pee and a poo, at 2am then again at 5.30 am. She plays like a mad thing, then conks out for a couple of hours. The test will be when I leave her while she is fully awake- not looking forward to that one!
Most of the photos I took when I got home are blurred- she was hanging onto the camera strap, so it wasn't easy...however, here are a few to be going on with- sorry about the composition, I'm new to this sort of thing.
