Sorry if I miss anything in this post, there is so much to catch up on and my memory is shocking.
The puppies are all stunning, all those having are incredibly lucky! Was great to see everyone at Crufts, it didn't take Ceilidh long to get filthy after it, first thing the next morning caked in mud on the way home!
Great video Karen, really welldone. Maggie is such a sweetie.
Everyones pics are fantastic!!
Well we had fun in London as we always do. It takes one 10 minute walk on arrival for Ceilidh to get her "London Head" on as my brother calls it. She was an absolute dream, I was a little on edge about taking her to my sisters school to meet some of the kids. One for how she would react being surrounded by children and the noises and movements they make and secondly because of how the kids might have reacted to such a big dog especially when they are not used to dogs at all. She could not have been better and I have to say neither could the kids. Maybe 20 ran over excitedly to the gates and surrounded her and she just stood lapping up all the attention and cuddles. One tiny boy was very frightened to go near her because she was quite literally 2 inches smaller than him so I sat her down and he moved closer and started clapping her side then moved up to her head and ears and he loved it bless him. My sister and I then took Ceilidh into a park next to the school to let her off and on the way back out one of the kids was passing and he ran over to her waving his arms in the air and she just stood waiting for him then rubbed her head on him and did the typical munster lean. The kids didn't scream or make any sudden movements at all, just crowded round clapped and hugged her asking questions about her etc. It really was lovely.
We had her a a couple of smaller parks for walks on on the Friday took her to great Windsor Park, it was fantastic. Lots of admiration from passers by, a lovely german woman was there with her lab and retriever so she had a play with them by the water as the woman admired her. She normally wants to run after bikes ( I think she thinks it is a game) but she ignored them entirely, ignored all the birds in the ponds and just wanted her toy thrown in to retrieve. Even walking her round the streets of London we were stopped a few times by people, and if any of you have ever been to London you will know exactly how rare it is that people will stop to talk etc. After such a long weekend she is completely shattered so snoozing a lot today.
Hope everyone is well and sorry if I have missed anything on here. Oh, and sorry, I didn't take any pics over the weekend but off to beach or similar place tomorrow, it is good to make the most of it when they are still quiet, come Easter they start to get much busier.
