Great to get back this weekend and see Brodie. He’s lucky he didn’t do himself an injury in the state he got himself when he first spotted I was home! No-one else in the house showed even a fraction of his excitement to see me! He hasn’t changed much in the 2 weeks apart from his underneath being hairier. I’m sure there’s probably a proper dog-term for that but I’ve still to be educated on what it is.
Lins, painting landscapes sounds a bit more idyllic than what I was doing! I’ve been creating a kitchen for the last 2.5 years (during my vacations only). This trip I was finishing painting the last of the kitchen cabinets as they were designed to be hand-painted. That’s me finished it now apart from either finishing off with gold paint or gold leaf. I also painted 3 double windows in the basement (where the original kitchen was 100+ years ago) and 2 cast iron beams over some other basement windows. I’m pleased with what I got done.
Sorry to hear your backs still sore Karen. As for the rusty collars in the sea water, yes we had that too but they do clean back up.
Glad to hear Kiai can still do some agility Sarah.
Some lovely pictures in the last few days, including the slide show. (Elspeth, couldn’t get the video to run – says it’s not currently available – will try looking later.)
Was Discover Dogs on at the weekend? I’ve never been but my sister tells me it’s great. Hope you enjoyed it.
Lyndsey, did you manage to choose a pup? Any pics?
